Akindale Thoroughbred Rescue could not exist without a network of fine volunteers to help keep our programs running. ATBR volunteers are from all over the country; and while horse experience is always a plus, many people volunteer to help with fundraising activities and administrative work.

Among our greatest expenses are items we need to keep our horses healthy and happy. ATBR always needs a supply of everything from equine first aid items to saddles and bridles! You can help by asking your local tack supply or feed store for donations. Many Girl Scout Troops and local 4H and Pony Club organizations organize collections for ATBR horses. Contact our main office to see which items are in particularly short supply.
